Music For Life

Mission

Our contemporary studio is committed to creating an encouraging atmosphere for learning.
My goal is to help students develop the skills they need to play music, whether solo or together with friends, that
will bring them a lifetime of enjoyment.

Private Lessons
Piano, Keyboard, Ukulele, Mandolin

Students are provided with individualized lesson plans, starting out with research-based method books that best suit each individual. As their playing abilities and styles develop, students participate in choosing repertoire. Genres covered include classical, jazz, pop, and contemporary Christian.

Semi-Private Lessons

Now offering semi-private piano lessons as the starting point for most new students, as well as for busy older students who prefer a more flexible, social format.
These 45-minute lessons, with 2–3 students per class, are carefully grouped by age and level. It’s a relaxed, supportive way to begin (or continue) learning.

Benefits:
🎵  Students stay engaged by learning alongside a peer
🎹  Each student still receives individual instruction every class
😊  A fun, social way to ease into music
💰  More affordable than private lessons, but just as meaningful!

Philosophy

My teaching philosophy is that all students are unique, with specific learning styles and interests.  My goal is to get to know each one individually, and teach them according to how they learn best.  With a balance of structure and fun, students learn a solid foundation of the skills necessary to develop a love of playing music that will last a lifetime.

Performance Opportunities

Performing on stage in front of an encouraging audience makes students feel proud and special.
It gives them a chance to showcase their progress and celebrate how far they’ve come.
Recitals also recognize the many hours of dedicated solo practice, turning their hard work into a moment of
joy and accomplishment.
